The Medieval village of Sillano

On the territory of Sillano there are numerous villages saving the Medieval marks of their original building and whose inside it is possible to visit fine buildings dating back to the XV-th and XVI-th century.

In the very heart of the historic centre rises the Parish Church, built during the XV-th century and entitled to Saint Bartholomew. It was restored according to its actual features.

Inside the church, typically Baroque, it is possible to admire fine paintings among them distinguishes a sixteenth-century plate portraying an "Our Lady with the Child between the Saints Sisto and Catherine of Alessandria". In the middle of the choir it is also possible to admire a fresco painted by a local artis and portraying an "Holy Cross Adoration".
