The Bourbon del Monte-Baciocchi's Villa in Capannoli The Bourbon del Monte-Baciocchi's Villa was built in late Baroque and Neoclassical style on the place where the ancient castle erected by the Gherardesca Counts once rose. The villa is surrounded by a wide and rich "Romantic garden" in eighteenth-century style, in which it is possible to admire one hundred sixty different and rare botanical species coming from different countries of the world. The rooms of the Bourbon del Monte-Baciocchi's Villa host the "Zoological Museum" consisting of a collection of archaeological finds came to light in the territory of Bourbon del Monte-Baciocchi's Villa and dating back to the Etruscan Age, like some cinerary urns and funerary dowries. The Zoological Museum also hosts about a thousand four hundreds different kinds of animals, all hosted in their natural habitat.
