The Medieval village of Palaia

The village of Palaia still saves today numerous traces testifying its secular history, both in single buildings and in the whole town.

At the entrance of the village it is possible to admire the ancient gate that once gave access to the same town, whose building goes back to the Middle Ages, and the "Civic Tower", dating back to the XVI-th century.

The oldest religious building of the town is the "Saint Martin Parish", whose building in Romanic and Gothic style goes back to the XIII-th century.
