The Saint Leopold Church in Abetone

The Saint Leopold Church was built at the end of XVIII-th century for the will of the Bishop Ricci according to the Grand Duke of Tuscany Pietro Leopoldo.

The church was erected close to the gate to the town for the occasion of the opening of the "Via Regia Modenese" when the first residential settlement in the boundary zone was formed.

The Saint Leopold Church shows a horizontally lengthened facade from which open two quadrangular windows.
