The Medieval village of Badia Tedalda
The village of Badia Tedalda rises along the boundary between the Tuscany and the Emilia Romagna region, extending on an eleven thousand hectares surface covered by a rich wooden vegetation and for pasture.
The residential centre of Badia Tedalda develops around the Saint Michael Archangel Church, that was built in ancient times on the remains of a pre-existing castle.
Inside the religious building it is possible to admire valuable art works made by different artists like a glazed earthenware portraying an "Our Lady and four Saints" made by Benedetto Buglioni (1459-1521) and another one portraying the "Saints Julien, Sebastiane and Anthony" made by Santi Buglioni (1494-1576).
