The Medieval village of Castiglion Fibocchi The village of Castiglion Fibocchi shows still today the characteristic features of its original building. It develops within its ancient ring of walls, crosse by stretch and stone-made roads. Along its walls it is also possible to see one of the gates that once allowed the access to the town, the so called "Porta Fredda", surmounted by an aslar stone-made arch. In the very heart of the historic centre rises the Municipal Palace, built during the middle of the XIX-th century on the remains of some Medieval fortifications and enlarged during the ages. Close to the village rise two interesting religious places. The first one is the Saint Mary in Pozzano Church, saving a fourteenth-century fine fresco painted by an artist from Arezzo portraying an "Annunciation". The second one are the remains of the Saint Quirico Church, whose building goes back to the Paleochristian Age.
