The Saint Francis Church in Figline Valdarno The building of the Saint Francis Church is previous to the XIII-th century. It was restored during the XIV-th century. The Saint Francis Church shows a fine porch and on its facade it is possible to see the traces of the original building. The interior has just an aisle and is rich of fine frescoes like those ones surmounting the main portal painted in the XV-th century by Francesco d’Antonio and portraying the "Crucifixion and Saints" and "Our Lady’s Annunciation and Incoronation".

In the left transept it is possible to admire a late-Gothic fresco portraying "Christ in Pity among Saints", the "Crucifixion" and a copy of the fourteenth-century polyptych that was painted by Mariotto di Nardo (1394-1424). Very interesting is also the fresco painted on the left wall of the church by Domenico Bigordi, called "the Ghirlandaio" (1449-1494), and by Sandro Filipepi, called "the Botticelli" (1445-1510). Inside the sacristy it is possible to see a stucco portraying "Our Lady with the Child". By a door placed along the left side of the Saint Francis Church, opens a cloister saving the remains of some seventeenth-century frescoes and from where it is possible to enter a chapel that saves a fine plate painted by Giovanni del Biondo in 1392.
