The Saint Peter Parish in San Piero a Sieve In the very heart of the village of San Piero a Sieve rises the Saint Peter Parish, whose around the town gathers. The religious buildinh was built around the XI-th century and along the centuries it subdued numerous restoration works that modified its original building, leading it to its actual aspect. On the square opposite the Parish there is a statue portraying "Saint Peter", made by Girolamo Ticciati (1606-1669).

The interior of the Saint Peter Parish is divided by three aisles, along which there are fine art works. In the left aisle it is possible to visit a chapel, to whose inside there is a glazed earth-made baptismal font coming from the Della Robbia's school, on which some "Saint John Baptist's Stories" are carved and on its angles some Medici's ensigns are mounted. Inside the Canonical it is also possible to admire a plate and a high-relief, both dating back to the XV-th century and portraying an "Our Lady with the Child".
