The Medieval village of Capannori The village of Capannori develops around a main square, on which opens the Saints Quirico and Giulitta Parish. The religious building shows the typical style of its original building, with its stone-made facade and some decorative elements. Very artistically interesting are the numerous villas laying in the territory, like the Cenami Mansi Villa, whose building goes back to the XVII-th century, and the Marlia's royal Villa, whose building goes back to the XVI-th century.

Both of them are equipped with a fine garden, some little lakes, fountains and imposing flights of stairs, preceding this latter their facades. The "Agricultural Museum of the Plain of Lucca" is also interesting to visit: it illustrates the history of the peasant tradition of Capannori and of the local craftsmanship. Inside the museum there are several sections, like the textile tradition, maize tradition and manufacturing of the wood, exposing both daily domestic tools and agricultural tools dating back to the XIX - XX-th century.
