The Thermal Baths of Montecatini Terme Among the thermal buildings, that can be see traveling the Viale Verdi (Verdi Avenue), the most important is the Tettuccio that was built between 1779 and 1781 based on a Neoclassical design by the architect Paoletti. Later the building was restored between 1918 and 1928 by Ugo Giovannozzi and were also added Neo Renaissance elements as the travertine columns and the four statues built by Corrado Vigni and placed at the entrance of the building. Very interesting are also the Terme Leopoldine (Leopoldo's Baths), whose building goes back to 1777.

The Excelsior Bath, built in 1915 on a Neo Renaissance style, was enlarged in 1968 by modern materials such as cement and crystal. The Tamerici Bath was built in 1910 and decorated with majolica and windows by Galileo Ghini. The Regina Bath was built between 1916 and 1927 on the Ugo Giovannozzi’s design and inside it is still possible to admire a large thermal hall preceded by a fine porch.
