The Thermal Baths of San Casciano dei Bagni The Thermal Baths of San Casciano dei Bagni reached their maximun development during the Medici's domination. By dieing the last Medici's descendant the therms started to lose their prestige but during the XIX-th century they were still used both to treat some ills and for beauty treatment, thanks to the sulphuric properites of their spring waters. The waters supplying the Thermal Baths of San Casciano dei Bagni gush from forty-two springs. The Therms are organized in four Thermal Baths: the "Bagno della Ficoncella", the "Bagno Grande", the "Bagno Bossolo" and the "Doccia della Testa".
