The Saint Martin Church in Sarteano

The Saint Martin Church was built in 1841 by a Neoclassical style on a pre-existing religious building.

The belfry of the church hosts a fourteenth-century bell belonged to the ancient Saint Martin Church in Foro, today replaced by the present Saint Martin Church.

Inside the Saint Martin Church it is possible to admire fine paintings, among them we remind here the fifteenth-century one placed on the internal facade portraying "Saint Martin and the Poor" and "Our Lady with the Child" painted in 1365 by Jacopo di Mino del Pellicciaio.
